Sabeto Hotspring and Mud Pool Tourist Attraction Site

In its early days, it was merely a tranquil slice of nature—gentle mud pools bubbling softly beneath the trees, a hidden gem treasured solely by locals for their extraordinary healing properties.

Drawing from generations of traditional wisdom, we embraced the chance to share this extraordinary natural sanctuary with the world. With profound respect for the land and its culture, we designed a space that is both humble and significant: a refuge deeply connected to nature, enriched by compassion and community..

Throughout the years, we have evolved while staying true to what truly matters. This is our story of connection, serenity, and the creation of an inviting space for everyone.

Activity Process

  • Strip down to your bathers
  • Then you wander over to a bucket filled with mud for a Mud Wrap and coat yourself all over
  • Spread the mud reasonably thin, so that it doesn't take too long to dry and form a crust
  • Once coated, there is about fifteen minutes to spend out in the open air until the mud has had enough time to seep into your skin and dry out on the surface.

recycle

  • it's time to recycle the mud by slipping into the mud pool for mudpool bath to wash it off

three hot pools

  • After washing off most of the mud, it's on to the next three hot pools.

All of the pools, including the mud pool, are heated from a natural hot spring.

The hot spring source is off limits in a little well, because the temperature is a scalding 70 degrees celcius (160 degrees fahrenheit).

All of the pools are similar in size at around 10-15 metres in length, with enough room to swim half a dozen strokes at a time.
